Instantly grew from a scrappy startup to a platform with 2M+ active users. But the product design hadn't kept pace with growth. We partnered with them to redesign the entire web app — creating a cohesive design system, streamlining complex workflows, and building a mobile experience that lets sellers prospect on the go.
Instantly's rapid growth led to a fragmented user experience. Features were added ad hoc, navigation was inconsistent, and the mobile experience was an afterthought. Users loved the product's power but struggled with its complexity.
We built a comprehensive design system from scratch, redesigned all core workflows with a focus on progressive disclosure, and created a native-feeling mobile app. The new design reduces cognitive load while making power features discoverable.
We embedded with the Instantly team for 6 months as an extension of their product org. Weekly design sprints, user testing sessions, and close collaboration with engineering ensured designs were buildable and validated.
